摘要
当今时代是信息过剩的时代,浩繁的信息经常使信息用户感到无所适从。运用RSS技术可以对网络信息资源充分整合,用户可以随时抓取网络上对自己有用的信息。借助RSS,图书馆可以提升自身的服务水平,为信息用户提供更大的方便。目前RSS在图书馆主要用于图书馆信息通告服务、参考咨询服务和个性化服务。RSS技术在图书馆应用的主要困难是技术障碍、图书馆员服务理念陈旧和用户接受程度不够。
Too much information often makes information user feel at a loss in this information explosion era. RSS technology integrates network information resources to make it possible for users getting network information at any time. Library can improve service and provide user more convenience. RSS is now used in information announcement, reference service and personalized information service in library. The mainly problems of RSS application in libraries are technology obstacles, service idea of library staffs and the acceptance of users.
