This paper has elaborated the concept of library reader rights and interests, and pointed out the content it contains, such as the reading rights of literature, equality of treatment power, reading rights to independence, information fights to know, personal dignity power, criticism supervisory authority, etc. Besides, the paper has promulgated the library legal at- tribute of reader fights and interests, put forward protective measures to strengthen the library legislative work, raise library personnel＇s legal awareness and strengthen reader rights and interests, etc., so as to increase library reader democratic awareness.
