Creating a Diverse Space and a Harmonious Communication Construction——Design of Yancheng North Toll Station's Office Building

设计从使用和管理的角度出发,将收费站办公和生活两种不同功能的用房独立设计,通过传统庭院的空间形式将两者有机结合起来,使其既严格区分又互相联系,并形成了舒适的过渡空间。同时,设计利用周围环境,采用架空、出挑等多种手法,营造出多样的、令人愉悦的亲水空间,达到了创造和谐交通建筑的目的。

From the view point of users and management, office space and living space was designed separately. The traditional courtyard space combines the both, and makes it not only strict distinction, and forms a comfortable space for the transition. At the same time, the use of original topography and overhead, cantilevered way create a diverse and pleasant water space, and finally reach the purpose of harmonious communication building.
