教育是影响社会分层与社会流动的重要因素,社会学家通常把受教育程度作为分析社会层次的一个重要指标。分析我国清末至今高等教育与社会分层、社会流动的互动关系,我们可以得出这样的结论:教育与社会分层、社会流动的相互影响的大小,始终是与社会大环境的发展进步紧密关联的。

Education is an important factor which influences social stratification and social mobility. Sociologists usually regard educational level as an important indicator to analyze social classes. Through a brief analysis of interaction between higher education and social stratification, social mobility in China since the late Qing Dynasty, the conclusion can be drawn： mutual influence between education and social stratification, social mobility, has always been closely linked with social development and progress.
