摘要
辅酶Q10(CoQ10)存细胞氧化磷酸化及ATP产生过程中起关键作用,是目前证实治疗线粒体糖尿病有效的药物。研究发现补充CoQ10不仅能通过减轻氧化应激来改善胰岛素抵抗、保护线粒体功能,而且还能通过清除氧自由基、抑制脂质过氧化、增加一氧化氮的合成来对抗动脉粥样硬化。此外,CoQ10还能减轻他汀类药物的不良反应、协同贝特类药物激活过氧化物酶体增殖物活化受体(PPAR)α,达到辅助降脂的目的。CoQ10可为预防及延缓糖尿病及其并发症提供新的治疗方法。
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) acts as a necessary part for oxidative phosphorylation and the synthesis of ATP. It has been confirmed so far as the effective treatment to mitochondrial diabetes mellitus. Studies suggest that CoQ10 supplements not only improve insulin resistance and cellular mitochondrial respiration by decreasing oxidative stress, but also attenuate atherosclerosis by reacting with oxygen radicals, reducing lipid peroxidation, and enhancing the synthesis of NO. Furthermore, CoQ10 can also mitigate side effects caused by statins, and co-activate PPAR α with fibrates to enhance its hypolipidemic effect. CoQ10 appears most promising for the prevention and delay of diabetes and its complications.
