摘要 对外移民是19世纪英国社会的一个重要特征。在这个世纪里,数以千万计的人从英国移往世界其他地区。这次移民有着深刻的社会、历史根源,移民的方式也各有不同,对英国社会和移民目的地都产生了重要的影响。
