摘要
无源光网络(PON)是一种点到多点的光接入技术,采用传统的光时域反射仪(OTDR)技术对PON的各分支光路进行监测出现了技术瓶颈。针对这一问题,文章分析了现有几种解决方案的不足之处,在此基础上,提出了一种以光供能方式驱动光开关测试的新方案,并详细描述了该方案的实现过程。
A bottleneck appears when conventional Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) technology is used to monitor various branches of the Passive Optical Network (PON), a point-to-multipoint optical access technology. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing the shortcomings of several existing solutions, a novel scheme is presented, in which each ONU-line is selected and tested by driving optical switch installed in ODN and powered by light-supply installed in OLT.
