两个形容词定语连用的语义指向研究

On the Semantic Orientation of the Successive Attributive Adjectives

本文结合实际语料,对两个形容词定语连用时的语义指向情况进行了全面考察,发现:(1)当两个形容词定语连用时,其语义指向有七种类型。(2)造成的语义指向歧义有显性指向歧义和隐性指向歧义两种。前者可以采用确定形容词定语的语义指向对象的方法来分化,后者可以采用变换法或添加数量定语法来分化。

The paper makes an investigation of the orientation of the successive attributive adjectives and draws the following conclu- sions： First, there are seven types of orientation of the successive attributive adjectives; Second, the ambiguity caused by the differemt orientation of the successive attributive adjectives can be classified into two subcategories by the overt one and the covert one. The overt ambiguity can be resolved by determining the target of the successive attributive adjectives, while the covert ambiguity can be resolved by changing its form or by adding number classifier phrase attributive.
