Brief Analysis of Emperor Kangxi's Disaster Prevention Thought

清初由于连年战争,各地防灾抗灾的能力明显减弱。康熙帝作为我国古代较有作为的君王之一,轸念民艰,体恤民生,采用了"积谷备荒、藏富于民"的积极防灾理念,并探索有效的实现途径。透视康熙帝的防灾思想,以史为鉴,对当今我国的防灾救灾活动或可成为有益的借鉴。

Early Qing Dynasty, due to years of war, the capacity of disaster prevention and disaster-resistant throughout various regions obviously weakened. Kangxi Emperor as one of the most achievement Kings in ancient China, remembered with great sorrow of the peo- ple＇s hardship, compassionate people＇s livelihood ,so he adopted the positive prevention ideas about preparing grain against natural disasters and possessing wealth among the people, then he explored effective ways of implementation. Learning from history,the perspective of Emperor Kangxi＇s disaster prevention thought will provide useful lessons to our disaster prevention and relief activities today.
