This paper is trying to study the president of the United States, Lyndon Johnson＇s striving for promoting Arms Control and accelerating detente between USA and USSR. Through collecting and studying the dialogue between the leaders of USA and USSR relating to Arms Limitation during Johnson＇s years, it analyzes LBJ＇s thought to Arms Control.
