Textual Research on the Publishing Date of Chung Hwa Educational Review

《中华教育界》由上海中华书局创办,是我国近代期刊中历时长、影响大的教育类刊物之一,在中国近代教育发展过程中扮演着重要的角色,对教育的近代化、中国化产生了不可磨灭的影响。但一直以来,在《中华教育界》的创刊时间上,却存在着众多不同的说法。本文对此进行了考证,并认为其创刊时间应为1912年3月25日。

The Chung Hwa Educational Review is a significant educational periodical of modem China, and was published by Chung Hwa Book Corporations. It had played an important role in the development of education in modem. There exist arguments on the publishing date of the first issue of Chung Hwa Educational Review. This paper proposes that Chung Hwa Educational Review started on the 25th March, 1912.
