摘要
UC3906作为阀控密封铅酸蓄电池充电器的专用芯片,其内部集成了实现阀控密封铅酸蓄电池最佳充电所需的3种充电逻辑控制和检测功能,并具有环境温度自适应、充放电程度自适应以及限流、欠压保护功能.其采用的温度补偿技术可使各种充电转换电压随阀控密封铅酸蓄电池电压温度系数的变化而变化,使阀控密封铅酸蓄电池在很宽的温度范围内都能达到最佳充电状态.解析了基于UC3906专用芯片设计阀控密封铅酸蓄电池充电器的原理及应用,并设计出一种简单实用、工作稳定、性能可靠的12 V阀控密封铅酸蓄电池充电器,供研究参考及技术开发.
UC3906 is used as the exclusive chip of the valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery charger. Inside the chip are integrated three best charging modes of logic control and detection function, which has adaptive optimization in the ambient temperatures and discharging, and also has current limiting and low-voltage protection. The adoption of the temperature compensation technique offers the probability that various kinds of charging change-over voltage vary with the temperature coefficients of voltage in the battery, enabling the battery to reach its best charging state in a wide temperature range. The paper analyzes the principle of the valve-regulated sealed lead/acid battery charger based on the design of the UC3906 exclusive chip. It also introduces its application in which a simple practical 12 V such charger is designed with stability and reliability. The presentation is only for the reference and development in related research.
