Theory of Truth in the Perspective of the Philosophy of Logic:Putnam's Criticism of Tarski's Theory of Truth

普特南试图通过批判塔斯基的真理理论,批判那些认为真理问题或是通过去引号理论、或是通过真理语义学、或是通过二者的结合已经被一劳永逸地解决了的观点。普特南对塔斯基真理理论的批判指出了试图通过形式逻辑彻底解决哲学的真理问题是不可能的,形式化处理没有任何的哲学承诺,而真理是一个实质概念。真理研究可以有不同的路径,这体现了真理研究的多元化趋势。

Putnam＇s criticism of Tarski＇s theory of truth aims to refute the view that the problem of truth has been solved once for all either by the disquotational theory of truth or by the semantics of truth, or by the combination of the two. Putnam＇s criticism points out that the problem of truth can not be solved by the formal logic because formalism has nothing to do with the philosophical commitment and truth is a substantial concept. There are different approaches to the study of truth which reflects its pluralism.
