The paper summarized the general situation and the innovation achievements of the high efficient mine and mining equipment and technology development in the recent years and introduced the important technical breakthrough obtained from the hydraulic powered supports and related equipment for the high height coal mining face and the high height fully mechanized top coal caving mining face during the National 11 th Five Years Plan Period. From the high efficient automatic coal mining completed set equipment and technology, the high efficient mining completed set equipment and technology for the complicated and difficult mining seam and the advanced manufacturing technology of the coal mining equipment, the paper had the prospects for the completed set equipment and technology of the high efficient coal mining faces during the National 12th Five Year Plan period.
