During the early Eastern Jin Dynasty, there are power balances between the imperial authority and the culturalsocial elite, as well as the elite establishment. Wang Dun's first rebellion is opposed to Emperor Yuan' s breaking of such power balance, but this second rebellion upsets the balance, so the stands of the elite establishment with regard to these two rebellions differ markedly. Ultimately, the games maintain the balance of the power situation. In this power eompetition, the social cultural resources which gain from the fame play a key role. The analysis of the interaction of politieal power and the social-cultural resource such as Wang Dao, Emperor Yuan, Wang Dun, Zhou Yi, Wen Qiao, reveals the interchange between the cultural field of fame and the political field of power.
