It offers a new interpretation of the deconstructionist＇s attempt to define litera- ture in a new context of postmodern culture. It also tries to highlight the constructive nature of Miller＇s notion of literature which unsettles its established meanings in the hope of opening up an inquiry into the theory of literature.
