HDCT and Its Clinical Application

近年来,CT在快速发展的过程中碰到了制约其前进的问题:覆盖范围限制、机械限制、精度的限制以及剂量的限制。如何解决这些问题,业界呈现了2种趋势:一是继续排数的发展,二是抛开传统观念,更换探测器材料,开发新的临床应用产品。宝石CT具有高清晰图像、能谱成像、大范围灌注和全身低剂量的特点,是CT产业发展的新方向。

The number of detector rows has been the focus of the CT development for decades. During the last decade, CT development has reached a threshold which is represented by coverage, mechanics, resolution and dosage. In order to break this bottleneck, two further development directions have been shown in recent years, of which, one is to increase the number of the detector rows, and the other is to revolutionize the material of detector to explore new clinical applications. Generally, HDCT opens the new era for whole CT modality, bringing the radiologists the high-resolution image, spectral imaging, large coverage and low dosage application.
