摘要本文首先介绍了Esteban et al.(1994,1999)提出的收入极化测算方法,并运用EGR方法对中国城乡居民收入分配的两极分化指数进行了估算。估算结果表明,基尼系数与两极分化指数之间存在显著的差异,同时,在1995-2006年间中国农村居民收入分配的两极分化程度要比城镇居民两极分化程度更严重,但城镇居民收入分配两极分化的EGR指数增长速度更快。
