Context Adaptability in Intercultural Communication

交际语境由各种不同而相关联的因素构成。这些因素可以归纳为外显因素和内化因素这两大类。交际是交际参与者不断调整自己从而顺应外显语境因素和对方的内化语境因素的一个动态过程。从交际语境、语言语境和文化语境三大跨文化交际语境要素入手,运用顺应理论阐释跨文化背景下的交际者在言语交际过程中如何进行语境顺应,有助于达到成功交际的目的。

Communicational context consists of various factors relating to each other. These factors are generally classified outside factors and inside factors. In fact, communication is a dynamic process to which participants consistently adjust themselves to adapt to the contextual factors both outside and inside. Starting from the three essential factors in intercultural communication communicational context, linguistic context, and cultural context, the paper illustrates the way in which participants realize context adaptability, aiming at successful communication.
