This article introduces a pattern of order- oriented and menu- typed cultivation of talents to meet the requirements of business and society, which has long been probed by Hubei Polytechnic Institute with the backing of school - government cooperation base. Under this pattern, discipline construction and teaching reform are enhanced, students＇professional abilities are improved, their employment is promoted, and social services are widened to reach a harmonious development of school, business, and society.
