The paper introduces the use of two metrics, namely customer wait time （CWT） and requisition wait time （RWT）, by the U.S army to accelerate the process of spare parts supply and, in view of the slow response in the military spare parts supply in China, puts forth measures for improvement from the three perspective of process restructuring, supply information sharing and logistics network enhancement.
