The Complementarities of Hanyu Dazidian (The Dictionary of Chinese Characters)·Li (力) Radical

《汉语大字典》是一部"以解释汉字的形、音、义为主要任务的大型语文工具书",由于书成众手,内容广泛,难免失误。以"力部"为例,可以发现其失误表现在以下方面:字形方面,由于不识俗字以及一些字之间的异体关系而导致正字不清、异体未明,如、,劰、等;注音时由于未以反切拼读规则和语音演变规律为依据而造成一些字的注音与所引《广韵》、《集韵》反切不符,如、勂等;释义方面,有些引证欠妥,如劺、劲。

Hanyu Dazidian aims at explaining Chinese characters＇ font styles, pronounciations and their meanings. But some mistakes exist in this dictionary. In this paper, we give some complementarities to some of its characters with li radical： in font style, there are some mistakes due to the unclearness of the fonts of some folk-characters and the confusion of the relationship between some characters＇ variants, such as ＂cong＂ （） ,＂ ke＂（）,＂ mo＂（劰） and ＂yi＂ （） ; in phonetic notation, some characters＇phonetic notation like ＂geng＂ （） and ＂gao＂ （劼）, are different from the fanqie （ 反切J ） quoted from Guangyun and Jiyun on account of not following the spelling rules and the evolution of pronunciation; in lexicographical explanation, there exist improper quotations, such as ＂mou＂（劺） and ＂jin＂（劲）.
