研究了拖拉机传动皮带松紧度对摩擦功率和滑转功率的影响，得出皮带松紧度的最佳范围为２５～３０ｍｍ．并研制了一种实用的皮带松紧度检测仪，对使用中拖拉机的１２１根皮带的松紧度进行了检测，发现６０％的皮带偏松或过紧，需进行调整．
The quantity relationships among belt tightness of walking tractor and friction power and slipping power were studied. The optimum range of belt tightness is 25-30 mm. A Simply instrument was designed to inspect the belt tightness of walking tractor. 121 belts on walking tractor in use were measured and 60% of the belts is out of the reasonable range, so they need to be adjusted.
