摘要 目前,因特网技术的迅速发展,网络传输速度的不断提高,致使用户对以太网卡的要求也相应越来越高,而传统设计以太网卡的方法已无法适应用户需求的变化。为加速以太网卡设计的步伐和满足广大用户对不同速率的要求,在介绍了三态以太网卡的基本组成及其工作原理的基础上,给出了一种采用Xilinx公司ISE9.1i开发平台和ML403 FPGA开发板设计三态以太网卡的设计方案,并对发送模块做了重点分析与设计,最后给出了部分模块的Modelsim仿真结果图。采用FPGA可编程技术来设计网卡,充分发挥可编程逻辑器件的设计优势,不仅简化设计步骤,缩短设计周期,而且降低了设计成本。 At present, the rapid growth of Internet technology and the high transmission speed of Internet network result in the higher demand to the Ethernet NIC. But, the traditional method of designing the card has been unable to adapt to the demand changes of the users. In order to accelerate the pace of designing Ethernet NIC and satisfy the demand of different users, This paper presented a proposal of designing Tri-mode Ethernet NIC using Xilinx's ISE9. li software design platform and ML403 development Board after introduced the basic structure and working principles of Tri-mode Ethernet NIC, and focused on the design of Rx module. Finally, we provided simulation images of some modules by modelsim simulator. Using FPGA to design NIC, it gives full play to the programmable logic device's advantages, thus not only simplified the design steps, shorted the design cycle, but also reduced design cost.
