The characteristics of polypropylene pipe are elaborated as well as specifications in water supply construction of polypropylene pipe in buildings. The defects of building water supply polypropylene pipe are introduced. Author points out that PP-R pipe can not completely replace metal pipe in some areas, but in domestic water supply system of civil buildings PP-R pipe has good application prospect with good social and economic benefits.
