从中西思维图式差异看跨文化交际教学

The Study of Cross-cultural Communication Teaching in the View of the Differences in Thinking Schema between China and West

中西方地理环境,政治制度和文化习俗迥异,造成了思维图式的差异,中国文化以整体思维图式为特点,西方文化以个体思维图式为特点,思维图式的差异是造成文化冲突和跨文化交际障碍的重要原因。要进行正确的跨文化交际,促进中西文化融合,就需要教师拓宽视野,提高素质,拒绝西方文化霸权主义,引导学生深刻理解文化差异的根源,建构起和谐的跨文化交际图式。

Because of the differences in geographical environment, political system, and cultural custom, China and the west have their own cultural characteristics： featured in holistic-thinking and individual-thinking, which results in cultural shock and the failure in productive cross-cultural communication. Therefore, in order to carry on the appropriate cross-cultural communication, for the teachers, it＇s been crucial for them to enrich their cultural knowledge, to be sensitive to the cultural ideas and in the mean time to be devoted to anti-hegemonic belief. In this way, students would be well-guided to achieve a better understanding of the origin of China-West cultural differences. Then they gradual learning to construct harmonious cross-cultural communication schema.
