论荀子的“群”

On Xun Zi's "the group"

在荀子的思想体系里,"群"是一个很特别的概念,是人类社会生存与发展的基本能力,是人类区别于动物的根本标志,是人的社会性的表现,是人共生、共存、共发展的理想社会。荀子通过"人之生不能无群"、"明分使群"、"君者何也?曰:能群也"、"节用以礼,裕民以政"等命题阐述了"群"的理念和理想状态。

＂the group＂ is a very special concept in Xun Zi＇s ideology. It is the human society survival and development basic capability. It is the basic symbol to distinguish humans from animals . It is person＇s social performance. It is the ideal society which the person paragenesis, the coexistence, and mutual development. Xun Zi through ＂People could not live without the group＂, ＂Delimiting the benefit boundary to cause the humanity to form the community to live in together＂, ＂The King is what kind of person ？ He can cause the person to form the community＂,＂The king limits people＇s desire by system and law, and caries for the people＂ elaborated the idea and ideal state on ＂the group＂.
