摘要
针对实际工程,首先利用计算流体动力学软件FLUENT建立可以考虑水晃动作用影响的椭球形水塔的动力计算模型,然后对该水塔结构在不同水深情况下的自振频率和阻尼特性以及在不同地震波动下的时程反应进行计算分析。计算结果表明:椭球形水塔中水体的晃荡作用有明显的TLD效应,能够有效地减小水塔的地震反应。
Combined with engineering practice, this paper firstly presented the dynamic calculating model of an ellipsoidal water tower using FLUENT software, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD), in order that the water effect of tower can be considered. And then the natural periods and damper characteristics of the tower with different water depths were studied. Finally, its seismic responses under various earthquake waves were researched. The results showed that the sloshing of water in the ellipsoidal tower can effectively reduce the seismic response of tower structure because it evidently plays a role of TLD.
