Analyzes the development process of the automobile panel dies, introduces briefly Simultaneous Engineering （SE）. The feasibility of applying the simultaneous engineering in the development of automobile panel dies is proved well in practice. Simultaneous engineering is a reasonable and effective method to shorten the design and manufacture period of the automobile panel dies, lower the development cost, and increase the die manufacturing quality.
