摘要
模糊性是自然语言所共有的本质属性。作为模糊语言家族中的一分子,模糊限制语是语言中最普遍、最典型的模糊语言。文章拟考察是否相关英语模糊限制语的分类标准也适合汉语、日语模糊限制语的分类,并尝试性地从语法、语义、语用的角度对汉语、日语模糊限制语进行分类。分析发现,模糊限制语在这三种语言中有着共同的语义功能。
Fuzziness is an intrinsic nature of language. As a member of the family of fuzzy language, hedges are the most common and typical one. This paper aims to probe whether the criteria for the classification of English hedges are applicable to the classifi- cation of Chinese and Japanese hedges ; it attempts to classify the hedges in Chinese and Japanese from grammatical, semantic and pragmatic perspective. The study indicates that hedges in the three languages share the same semantic functions.
