摘要
作者从参与烂泥沟特大型金矿床整个勘查历程的亲身体验中感到：①新理论、新技术、新方法的应用是找矿取得突破的关键；②地质工作只有坚持实事求是、理论联系实际的科学态度，才能有所作为；③矿床勘探要工程揭露与地质研究并重，以不断深化对矿床成—控矿规律的认识，从而减少勘探投入并取得更大的经济效益。
Abstract: In this paper the author forwards his experience in exploration at the Lannigouextra-large disseminated gold deposit of southwestern Guizhou. The application of new ideas, newtechniques and new methods is, in the author's opinion, a vital to make big progress in gold exploration, and he also stresses the imPOrtance in guidance of a practical and realistic principle and a linkage of theory and reality to our geological work. A reasonable combination of exploration engineeringwith geological research is a very effective way to improve the insight into gold mineralization and control and to reduce economic cost of exploration.
