This paper has a research purpose of explaining the relationship between Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and the Hotoku Religion which beginning from Sontoku Ninomiya, a peasant thinker of the latter Tokugawa Period, and makes a thorough inquiry about the construction of thoughts of"virtue for virtue',"Sincerity, Hardworking, Bundo and Suijo","Tendo-Jindo" and "Fusion of Ichien". The author also explores the historical relationship between the thought culture of Japan and "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism", and argues that the assimilation, practice and sublation of the spiritual resources of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism will be significant and meaningful to the development of civil society and the new "humanity oriented" world.
