The Connotation of Time-oriented Thinking of Chinese Medicine

由于时间是事物整体运动变化的反映,因此以整体观念为基础的中医学必然表现出以时为本的特点。本文分析了中国古代科学的时间观,并论述了这一时间观在中医学中的表现。

Time reflects movement and changes of everything in the universe, therefore, Chinese medicine which is based on a holistic perspective is also time-oriented. This article analyzes the outlook of the ancient Chinese on time, and how such an outlook manifests in Chinese medicine.
