摘要
数字微镜器件(DMD)是一种反射式空间光调制器,对其全息显示特性的充分研究有利于采用恰当的方法进行全息编码,为充满应用前景的全息三维显示打下基础。从DMD的微观结构入手采用灰度调制理论与菲涅耳衍射理论探讨了DMD进行全息显示的机理。阐述了DMD对全息图的调制机理与衍射原理,正确地解释了DMD全息显示的机制,并根据DMD的结构特点对所生成的全息图在制作过程中进行了相位补偿。
Digital micromirror device(DMD) is a kind of reflective spatial light modulator.Its holographic display property investigation is beneficial to adopt appropriate holographic coding ways and lays the groundwork for future promising holographic three-dimensional(3D) display.The holographic display theory of DMD by grayscale modulation and Fresnel diffraction theory from its microscopic structure are analyzed.The theories of DMD modulates and diffracts hologram are expatiated,which rightly explain holographic display theory of DMD.According to characteristics of DMD performs,phase compensation for the hologram is made during its generating process.
