35年来,淡马锡控股经营稳健、业绩骄人。然而在经济危机的冲击下,也遭遇到有史以来最大的经济损失。本文以淡马锡控股的投资策略为切入点,探讨其区域投资和金融资产选择上的失误,从决策透明度原则出发讨论主权财富投资公司的社会责任心、公司治理及相关信息披露。
The worst economic crisis since the Second World War is the best test of sovereign wealth fund man- agement. Much admired for its long-term success and stable financial results, Temasek suffered the greatest eco- nomic losses in its own history, demonstrating once again the need to carefully deal with financial risks at any time. This thcsis examines thc investment strategies pursucd by Temasek and some mistakes on the part of the management to allocate funds. Then the thesis goes on to discuss social accountability, corporate governance and information disclosurc relating to transparency in managing sovereign wcalth funds.
