谈新善本的保护工作

On the Protection of New Rare Books

分析新善本的定义、特征、保护收藏范围,介绍图书馆界对新善本保护工作的实践,并对黑龙江省图书馆新善本界定标准做简要说明。指出开展新善本保护是新时期图书馆发展的必然,是文献学、版本学学科建设的需要,图书馆界应高度重视近现代文献版本价值;提出在做好古籍普查的同时,开展新善本的普查工作,制定全国性保护规划的重要性,使新善本的保护和研究更加深入与广泛。

In this paper, the definition, characteristics and collection range of new rare books are analyzed, and the practice of protecting new rare books in Heilongjiang Provincial Library is introduced. The author also makes an brief description on how Heilongjiang Provincial Library defines the standard of new rare books. Pointed out it is the inevitable development to protect new rare books, and necessary to the study of document and edition. The library community should pay higher attention to modern edition of document. At the same time of surveying rare ancient books, we should pay more attention on new rare books. It discussed the importance of making a national conservation plan and protect and research the new rare books deeply and broadly.
