These two fieldbus technology PROFIBUS-DP and MOD- BUS have been used extensively in the industrial automation field and improve the automatic degree efficiently. This article instructs their own characteristics on physical interface used, data exchange means and so on. Then elaborates each application between PLC and drive devices communication of the rewinder control system.
