墨子是我国历史上经济伦理思想相当丰富的著名思想家,"节用"是墨子经济伦理思想的核心内容。针对我国当前实际,党中央从我国的具体国情出发,提出了建设"资源节约型社会"的重大决策。建设资源节约型社会不是一蹴而就的,而是一项长期而艰巨的任务,需要我们不断地探索和创新发展。而在这方面,墨子"节用"思想对我国建设节约型社会具有重要的借鉴意义。

Mozi was an important thinker in Chinese history,and he contributed a lot to Chinese economic and ethical ideologies.His philosophy is centered on the Thought of Fiscal Prudence.Taking Chinese current specific national situation into consideration,the CPC Central Committee resolves to build a resources-saving society,and adopts it as one of its major policies.Such is not easy,but a long-term and arduous task,which calls for continuous exploration and innovation of Mozi's Thoughts to be of reference to Chinese campaign of constructing a conservation-oriented society.
