摘要
脱机手写体汉字识别是模式识别领域最具挑战性的课题之一.本文分析了近年来脱机手写体汉字识别的最新进展,讨论了脱机手写体汉字分割、特征提取和分类器设计等关键技术的各种主流方法,介绍了3种典型的汉字识别数据库,并提出了脱机手写体汉字识别的难点问题和今后发展的趋势,为该领域的研究者指明研究方向,共同促进脱机手写体汉字识别技术的发展.
Off-line handwritten Chinese character recognition is one of the most challenging problems in pattern recognition field. This paper analyzed the latest developments of off-line handwritten Chinese character recognition in recent years. Main methods of the key technologies such as Chinese characters segmentation, feature extraction and classifier design were discussed. This paper also introduced 3 typical off-line handwritten Chinese character recognition databases. Finally, remain difficult issues and future trends of off-line handwritten Chinese character recognition were proposed. This paper will guide researchers in this field and promote development of off-line handwritten Chinese character recognition technology.
