纽约与上海市法律服务业集群比较研究

A Comparative Study of the Legal Services Cluster in New York and Shanghai

国内外很多学者从不同角度对集群做了大量的研究工作,但这些研究绝大多数聚焦在制造业领域,对服务业集群的研究尚不多见,更未见对法律服务业集群的理论与实证研究。本文运用大量详实的数据分析了纽约市法律服务业集群的现状、特征、空间布局及形成机理;并根据对上海法律业实地调研结果及统计数据、上海市发展战略及区位优势,分析了上海法律服务业的现状及发展法律服务业的有利条件,提出了推进法律服务业初始集群形成的对策建议。

Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on clusters from different perspectives, but most of their research has focused on the manufacturing industry. Research into the services cluster is few and far between, and little specific research has been done in the legal services cluster. Based on empirical data, the paper analyses the present situation, features, geographic distribution and rationale of the legal services cluster in the city of New York. Results of field research and statistics are used to elaborate on the legal services in Shanghai. The authors argue that Shanghai has many advantages in developing the legal services industry thanks to its development strategy and geographic advantage, and they put forward some suggestions on how to kick-start a legal services cluster in Shanghai.
