论翻译在英语阅读课堂教学中的必要性

On the Necessity of Translation in English Reading Class

本文从母语正迁移的角度出发阐述了翻译在英语专业阅读课堂教学中的作用。阅读课堂教学中,对部分难句的翻译,不仅有助于外语语言的习得,增加对课文的正确理解,而且有助于学生的母语口、笔头表达能力的训练和提高。

From the perspective of positive transferring influence of mother language, the paper illustrates the functions of ranslation in English reading class of English major. The translation of some difficult sentences can not only help foreign language acquisition and comprehension of the text, but also train the students＇oral and written ability of mother tongue.
