摘要
为了能观测到岩石变形产生的微弱的电磁信号,需要建立一套相应的实验观测系统。典型岩石实验表明,在考虑到变形电磁实验的种种特殊要求,认真选择观测设备,并进行了严格误差校正之后,可以获得可靠的岩石变形过程的电磁辐射信号。并且在机械振动激发条件下,无论岩石是否含有石英,都会产生足够强的电磁辐射信号。但是其中,石英晶体的敲击电磁信号最强,频率最高。该结果对研究地震的电磁现象具有一定的参考价值和指导意义。
The electromagnetic emissions(EMEs) produced during rock deformation are very faint and tiny, so that the measurements of them require excellent capabilities of detection system. Some rock impacting and rock compressing experiments were made for testing the system. The reliability of the results of electromagnetic emission experiment, therefore, depends greatly on the reasonable technical specifications of high sensitivity recorder and effectively controlled electromagnetic background. The tests have proved that the system is reliable and the data quality is improved greatly. The results show that with a sudden mechanical vibration, regardless can whether the rock contains quartz, a strong enough electromagnetic radiation signal can be generated and received by the new system. The amplitude from quartz crystal is the strongest and the frequency highest. The research has certain significance in the abstract and foreground in the application for the study of seismic electromagnetic phenomenon.
