The general principle and application of the dynamic penetration are introduced, the weaknesses, using the number of dynamic penetration blows as the index of the dynamic penetration test, are analyzed. The authors point out that it can overcome the weakness and make the results of the different model penetration tests to be comparable and general to use dynamic cone resistance.
