浅谈高校工科类专业课双语教学与多媒体手段的整合应用 被引量:12

摘要 双语教学是我国培养新时期复合型人才的一项重大举措,对促进我国高校教育规范化和国际化具有重要现实意义。然而,高校工科类专业课自身特点、学生英语水平偏低以及专业课双语教材等问题决定了现阶段双语教学存在诸多问题,传统教学手段弊端凸显。计算机技术和教学过程有机结合的多媒体教学因其多样性、集成性和交互性特点,是当今高校教学的主流形式。本文通过工科类专业课双语教学存在的利弊分析,结合多媒体教学手段在双语教学过程中体现的特点与优势,探讨将两者整合应用的必要性和方法。 Bilingual teaching is viewed as a major initiation to train new compound talents in China, which is of very significance in promoting the standardization and internationalization of our university education. However, there are still some problems existing in present bilingual teaching to highlight the drawbacks of traditional teaching methods, resulted from the own charac- teristics of engineering specialized courses, quite poor English proficiency of the students, as well as lack of suitable bilingual specialized textbooks. In recent years, the multimedia teaching, in which computer technology is organicially integrated in teaching precess, becomes the mianstream due to its diversity, intergration and interaction. In the paper, based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of bilingual teaching, and the features and superiorities of multimedia methods in engineering specialized courses, the necessity and measures of the integrated application of bilingual teaching and multimedia technology is discussed in detail.
