摘要
针对传统BMP格式静态图像占用空间大,传输速率低的缺点,提出高压缩率静态图像JPEG标准的编码方法。并详细介绍该编码方法的采样、离散余弦变换、量化和熵编码等主要步骤,并通过VisualC++编程实现BMP格式图像到JPEG格式图像转换。试验结果验证JPEG标准在静态图像压缩中的优越性,使得JPEG标准图像在数码相机、网络方面具有更广泛应用。
In view of the traditional BMP image takes more space and has lower transmission speed,this paper mainly introduces coding method of the baseline JPEG standard.It includes several steps,which are sampling,discrete cosine transform,quantification and entropy coding etc.FinaUy ,BMP image is converted into JPEG image with Visual C++ ,and experimental results demonstrate the superiority of JPEG standard in image compression.As a result,JPEG standard image will have a more widespread application in the digital camera and the network.
