本文以齿轮滚刀为例介绍了在微机上开发刀具CAD系统的方法、特别是借助于“ADS”用C语言对AutoCAD软件进行二次开发，从而实现了齿轮滚刀的参数化绘图．该软件的开发途径和设计思路为今后进一步从事这方面的研究奠定了基础．

Using gear-hobbing cutter as an example, this article introduces the method of developing the cutting tool CAD system on computer. Especially, by means of' ADS', using C language to second developing Auto CAD software, we realized the parametric plotting of the gear-hobbing cutter. Its developing way and designing thinking lay a foundation for us to do further research in this field.
