A Study of the Western Han Inscribed Wooden Slips Unearthed from the Nanyue Kingdom Palace Site in Guangzhou

摘要 More than one hundred inscribed wooden slips of the Western Han period were unearthed from the Nanyue Kingdom palace-site in Guangzhou. Their contents are mainly residence booklets and legal documents. The present paper makes a study of these recently published data, deciphers some characters, such as "wang 望," "shu 书 " and "zhi畤,"and expounds the information on the history of the Nanyue Kingdom.
