The discharge process of charged humanbody via a metallic object held in the hand,namely bodymetallic ESD,is analyzed in this paper.The main characteristics of ESD current waveform are presented,and the main factors,which have influence on the current waveform,are discussed.The mechanism of ESD is discussed by means of air breakdown theory
