少数民族地区师范院校英语专业课程设置与人才培养模式初探

A Brief Review of the Curriculum Design and Talent-Training Model for English Teaching Major in Ethnic Regions

传统的师范院校英语专业人才培养模式旨在培养合格的外语教师和工具型人才,以培养语言技能为主要目标,但这样的英语人才显然已不能满足当今社会发展的需求。因此,少数民族地区师范院校英语专业课程设置必须进行改革,新的培养目标和培养模式应立足于培养具有创新素质的复合型英语人才。笔者指出了传统师范院校英语专业所面临的问题,并对培养具有创新素质的复合型英语人才的人才培养模式进行了探讨。

The traditional curriculum of English teaching major is designed to train qualified English teachers and talents capable of using English. Its major objective is to train students＇ language skills, which can no longer meet today＇s social demand for English talents. Therefore, English teaching major in areas populated by ethnic groups is supposed to reform its curriculum. And the new curriculum should aim to cultivate English all -rounders. The present paper explores problems confronted by English majors, and solutions to cultivate English all -rounders.
