This paper developed a governing system of electronic-control diesel engine,which was based on MCS-51 single-chip computer,to make the diesel engine with high performance,low energy consumption and so on.The working principle and software design of the governing system were introduced in detail.Using the system to control the electronic-control diesel engine can overcome some disadvantages existing in mechanical governing system,such as not burning fully and high failure rate.
